Zebrafish Lifespan Atlas

Research Emphasis/Objectives

The goal of this project is to provide the research community with a Web-based lifespan atlas of zebrafish anatomy. The atlas images and 3D reconstructions will be based on serial histological sections. The Atlas Web site external link, opens in new window , which will eventually be accessed through ZFIN (zebrafish international network), will contain a variety of tools, including virtual slides, comparisons, 3D reconstructions, and integration with other features of ZFIN. Possibilities for a print atlas are being investigated.
