AIDS: NMR imaging for effects of protease inhibitors on intramuscular lipids in HIV and cognitive/motor complex; nutrition and physical activity in HIV; AIDS Clinical Trial Group phase I and II studies.

Cardiology: Effect of dietary lipids on chylomicrons; bypass angioplasty revascularization investigation in type 2 diabetes study; identification of polymorphisms associated with low levels of plasma HDL; nitric oxide and cardiovascular reactivity; congestive heart failure and exercise training; low-glycemic diet in hypercholesterolemia.

Pulmonary Medicine: Mycoplasma infection in children with asthma; scleroderma lung study; studies in cystic fibrosis.

Rheumatology: Pain perception and responses in fibromyalgia; outcome of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) in minorities; central factors in etiopathogenesis of fibromyalgia; genetics of SLE; periodontal disease and rheumatoid arthritis; modifiable risk factors for adverse outcomes in SLE; genetic risk factors for infection in SLE; longitudinal evaluation of African Americans with rheumatoid arthritis; pneumococcal vaccine in rheumatoid arthritis.
