Timeline for Identifying the 2008 CTSA Awardees

The priority scores from the February reviews of the CTSA applications have been posted to the NIH Commons, and Summary statements will be available in the first weeks of April. Due to the complexity of the budget process for the CTSA program, the NCRR will begin in March to request "just-in-time" information for revised budgets from applicants who are likely to be funded, as well as from those who are in a "grey zone," where the potential for funding is uncertain.

The NCRR Advisory Council will meet on May 14 to make second-level review recommendations. On May 15, NCRR will notify the institutions that will receive CTSA grants; the public announcement will follow in late May after the Notice of Grant Awards are issued.

The number of awards to be made will depend on recommendations by reviewers, the funds available, and the Council review of the funding plan.
